I like to pay your attention to flex Los Angeles, this place became terrible and no body care.
The gym room looks like a museum of old fashion equipments. All the equipments are more then 50 years old except a bike (that not works well), use to be there a good scale 2 years ago but the replace it with cheap $10 scale that show 10p off .the whole gym paints depressing black ,come on you forgot that we’re gay? We like to see more of rainbow colors.
The dark room is not really dark as suppose to be, it’s always dirty with cum and used condoms all over, only ones in 8 hours staff going inside to clean. there is only 2 mattress usually occupied by fat old guys that laying down or sleeping there for hours .when that happen no one going near to this room, and its pity because they don’t have any booth when 2 guys can play together in privacy.
They should hang there a sine like :USING THE MATTREST IS LIMITED FOR 20 MINUTES FOR PERSON.
FULL A SLEEP HERE IS NOT PERMITTED. KEEP THE PLACE CLEAN.
Another tip is to set in the dark room 3 tow floors beds in U shape each bed will have a curtain, a light, and roll of paper towel. Capacity for 12 happy guys for 24/7. But no one give a dime about us. As long the place make half million $ a year. Why to spend a nickel for improvement?
In the TV room there is tow sofas 6-8 guys can sit there but only 3 can watch T.V because the TV set in the middle of the room instead in the corner. so when there is more than 3 guys likes to watch TV they have to stand by the door. 4 days a weak on the busy hours you can’t use the room because it became a clinic for HIV test, or other consulted. My suggesting: use the manager or the supervisor rooms as clinic.
The video room set up even worth, there is 3 TV each on different wall, there is no way to watch 3 TV in same time, you have to move your head from one to other. The TV are small, old, and sating in bad location. the room is very hot in the summer, there is not even fen over there. There is only 3 toilets in flex but u can’t just sit there and relaxes because non of them have lock its mean you have to watch the door when you sit there. In the 3th restroom you don’t have to watch the door because there is no door, yes like in the jail. So you need to watch your ass. (The don’t give a sh..when you take a sh..) not even when you take a leek, there is not even one urinal, that’s why all the toilets Floors are wet and smell.
Used condoms all over the shower floor its normal view, only ones in 8 hours staff going in to clean it. The water in the shower suddenly getting cold every time when somebody flash the toilet. The try to fix this problem by replacing the good 1 handle shower faucet to an old fashion tow handle faucet, and shower had that splash the water all over around you but not on you. the water temperature still changing, now you need to deal with tow handle. The management don’t know how to solve problems that why they don’t do much.
Water from the shower get into the soap dispenser and make it thinner (its automatic filler, never run out of ‘’soap’’).
Because the manager use to be one of the staff, he don’t feel comfortable to tall his friends go clean a little. as far the supervisor don’t care . The supervisor hardly there, he coming for a short time to take the money and going to deposit it in the bank. And when he is there he lock himself in his office and playing with his dog. That’s why you can see layer of dust 1/4’’ thick above the room walls, the fen circulate the dust in the air and we’re breathe it. All the lockers are dirty from outside and inside, looks like never clean in the last 30 years. same as the fans , lithes, and carpet.
Thank you for your coffee, but please tell your staff not to fill water from the garden hose. Not once I sow him clean the coffee maker and fill it water from the hose its may cause a cancer. And please install a filter to the water cooler.
They advertising heated pull, the pull never ever warm, I don’t know if the reason is to save energy, retarded management, or just lazy staff.
The regular rooms some bigger than others some have mirror some not(because when a mirror break the don’t bother to replace it).but all the rooms very hot in the summer time. if the just install a $10 wall fan in each room or option to rent a fan for $1 its will make us much more comfortable in the room. its will be nice to see more colors beside the black. It will be nice to see all the doors in each hallway in deferment color, and the key of the door or the disk in same color. So when you get red key for example you will know it is in the red doors hallway.
The Jacuzzi works well 24/7. There is no safety switch shut off for emergency, if you loose your ring there, you will never fine it.
They promoted a discount card, buy $40 card get $50 value. But they keep it as secret, just a few guys know about it .
There is much more thing to correct in this place but who care?

And about the staff. If I go it's usually during the nights in weekends, but all the staff I have seen there has ALWAYS been friendly. and those who are complaining about their number being called should have paid for an extention if they wanted to stay over their time. I have never seen any staff member being rude!
The only thing they need to check for better is people just there for drugs /"partying" there are some annoying guys who are constantly asking for that. it usually are the ones who walk around in jeans and not in towel or underware...

I noticed on here that a couple of people have had bad experiences with staff at the L.A. club. I visit fairly often and personally I have had only good interactions with the guys and think they do a great job. Sometimes people have a bad day or are simply tired after a shift. It's hard work keeping a facility the size of FLEX as clean as it is...

As I said I like going to Flex. however there are two things I need to mention.
1. why is the one dolalr advertisement still on the site while the promotion is over? this might attrackt guys who just get disappointed.
2. you guys need to adjust the free introduction offer, because it isn't really a promotion. As it's a better deal to get the half year membership with the free locker. That way your paying nothing or just 3 dollars for the entry and I think it doesn't acieve the purpose of the coupon which should be the ability to introduce people with Flex for a reduced price. I would make it in get a half price locker or room with the coupon as a introduction or something like that.

Oh yeah...I almost forgot, there is one more thing that is kind of strange. I have noticed on occaision that a patron will be walking around the spa fully clothed. At a stand up sex club like Slammer that's the norm but in a bath it actually makes me kind of uncomfortable. I know that others feel the same way because I have had conversations with other guys about it. One man was convinced that the guy in street clothes was a police officer and I actually asked one guy a question thinking he was part of your staff since they are of course clothed while working. Flex is the only bath I have been to that allows that. Underwear, swimtrunks or a jock is cool but jeans and a coat is creepy! Just something I thought I would share with you.

I just want to say I love going to flex,except for when you have this short mexican older gentlemen working there. he is in his late 20's probably. He has the worst attitude with people he dosen't like. and treats other with such great respect. I pay for my time there. So I feel a simple hello and thank you when I come by and leave would not hurt. But it seems i upset him eveytime I go. You have wonderful employees there, but he needs re-training. I work in customer service and believe me even if I don't like you, I will give you 100 percent of my customer serive. I like to treat people with respect just like I want to be treated.

First of all...FLEX ROCKS! I have a stellar time every time. I am however confused by something that happened on Monday. I arrived at the club at 12:30am and they called me to the desk at 6:30am to check out. I thought I had paid for 8 hours but anoter patron said Mondays were different. I took his word for it but thought I would ask you here. Again...thanks for such a great facility!

megamanrulesall, Many of our customers enjoy watching. There are plenty of places in our building where you can do just that. You might find this a great way to start to get more comfortable.

Regarding the FAQ, room info I don't believe we have such a page. It is a good idea I will pass on the suggestion.
I will try a quick rundown.
Regular rooms are simply a small room with a single bed.
Small video rooms are the same size as regular rooms they have a TV with three porn chanels.
And large video rooms are a larger room with a double bed and again the tv with three chanels.

I simply wanted to say hello to everyone. I wanted to say that your websites (this and flexclub) are ones that both are done quite well and looks to be lots of fun.

Me, being new to sexuality in general and "trying to find myself" think that if/whenever I got the chance, Flex Baths would be an interesting place. Of course, knowing how I am, I might end up being rather nervous and shy do to..... well, let's just say I tend to overworry about my own appearance or how I may look to others, despite my aspects of trying not to do the same with others.

My apologies for rambling slightly. To the creators/admins of both sites, I wish to tell you that you have done a great job and to keep up the great work. Perhaps one day in the semi near future, I shall stop on in.

In regards to your question concerning the busiest times at flex. Sundays are always busy and at 2pm. we have a free BBQ. In the evenings Friday and saturday after midnight is always busy as well. As far as a night when the majority of patrons are black, we do not have that, but CHUCK is coorrect that it always a mixed crowd here.

CHUCK FLEX, OWNER FLEX BATHS

There is no regular day that I know of where Flex has a men of dark skin promotion. However, Midtowne Spa in Downtown LA has been known for there being a lot of Chocolate, in the past. Also with all of the sex boards, like Adam4Adam, Guys4men, Men4Now, Manhunt, DudesNude, Craigslist etc., The bathouse seen has dropped dramatically. It seems these days men want to hide behind their keyboards surfing the web playing out fantasy with nothing more than exchanging pictures, then go out to the clubs and work be social and work on their social skills or the baths to meet up with guys. Just my 2.5 cents

LA flex is comfortable and very clean. When I've been there on weekdays, they don't have many people,but I could relax and enjoy talking with some guys.

I went to flex yesterday for the dollar dick day in los angeles, but instead of doing the dollar thing, i got a large video room for $33.00. was having a great time, the place was packed! in the 11 years that I've been going there, this had to be one of the best times I had, except for the treatment from the staff. they have to be the rudest, nastiest bunch of self-loathing, unhappy with there job mother f**kers. at one point they called my room number after 4 hours there, to tell me in a very nasty and loud way that I had gone into overtime, i said what do you mean overtime, i paid for a room at 4:00 and it's 8:00 now and i have 3 more hours to go before you start to charge me for overtime.
they argued with me about this for at least 5 minutes, until they finally figured out that they were wrong. then when it was finally time for me to go, they kept anouncing it over the intercom. over and over and over.

As far as a younger crowd goes, it is usually pretty mixed here. Make sure to stop by on Tuesday and Sunday. Sunday BBQ is at 2pm. There tends to be a younger crowd then. Also Friday and Saturday nights after 2am brings in the younger guys as well.

I'm new to the Gay and Bath scene, I've been to one recently with a friend and was told to check out Flex. I'm 22 and although I do like playing with older men I was wondering if there were any nights that specifically attract a younger crowd?
